It was a wet, mild Christmas Eve and it’ll be a wet, mild Christmas Day.

For the past three years, I’ve always taken the last two weeks off from work. For the past two years, I’ve spent those two weeks at home due to the pandemic. This year, I’m trying to enjoy my two weeks off by going outside.

It was nice today (nice for December in Ohio anyway), so I decided to leave the house to take photos somewhere. I started over in Ohio City, but my photos didn’t come out the way I wanted. Some of them were tilted, some weren’t centered, and something just wasn’t there.

It was another cold day in Cleveland. A stark contrast to yesterday’s low 50s weather. Ugh.

Tonight I decided to give nighttime photography a try. I have absolutely no experience taking nighttime photos, but I recently picked up a used 56mm f1.2, and it seems like a good lens to use for nighttime.
