Saturday day out

It was nice today (nice for December in Ohio anyway), so I decided to leave the house to take photos somewhere. I started over in Ohio City, but my photos didn’t come out the way I wanted. Some of them were tilted, some weren’t centered, and something just wasn’t there.

The photos I took in downtown Cleveland felt a little bit more…there. Was it the weather, the architecture? Who knows.

The one thing I took away from today’s adventure is that I might want to invest in a zoom lens. A few times throughout the afternoon I had to stop and switch lenses. A zoom lens would mean I’d only need to bring one lens with me. However, the primes are quite sharp. If I can find a used one, I might purchase it.
