Tremont and Ohio City
It was another cold day in Cleveland. A stark contrast to yesterday’s low 50s weather.
In spite of all that, I still went outside even after spending the morning cleaning house. My first stop was Tremont because I wanted to go to Corner 11 for some chicken gyoza. After that, I drove over to Ohio City (circa Fulton Ave), and walked over to Rising Star Coffee for a very good dairy-free hot chocolate.
I was considering going down to Public Square to photograph the lights but I didn’t because the lights weren’t on. Hopefully next weekend, if the weather is dry, I can try a nighttime shoot.
For these shots, I used Joe Allam’s Superstone recipe. It was a very fitting recipe to use today. I wanted to use something that was good for cloudy, overcast weather.
One thing I that I have learned from editing these photos is that the Blacks slider seems to make photos look more dramatic. I messed around with it in the last picture. The church looks pretty cool.
