This evening, I went on a group hike along Edgewater beach. We weren’t sure if the weather would hold up, but it did. Right around 6 o’clock, the sun broke through the clouds.

Sometimes the sun likes to play games.

It wasn’t too too cold today (aka 30 degrees aka mild winter weather for a midwesterner), so I went out to Edgewater to take some photos of the lake after work.

I was supposed to go home after an appointment, but I wound up going to Edgewater Beach instead. It’s quiet there now. All of the boats are covered up for the season and the beach house is largely abandoned.

Yesterday, I went to a photography workshop. The focus of the workshop was landscape photography. I was definitely keen to go, especially after going on so many hikes recently. Taking pictures of nature is something I really enjoy.
