Thanksgiving part one

Ordinarily, we don’t do Thanksgiving in two parts. But it’s been a stressful week, so this year, we are. Tomorrow, we’ll have a typical full spread:

  • Turkey (that’s been brining for a whole day already)

  • Mac and cheese

  • Honeybaked ham

  • Stuffing

  • Greens

  • Cranberry sauce (yuck)

  • My bacon-wrapped brussels sprouts

For today, though, we did a smaller spread. Food was still delicious. And I had the opportunity to take out my camera and get some shots of my Dad’s stuffing and baked chicken thighs.

I used my 35mm Fujinon lens for these photos, and I don’t think I went above f/5.0 for any of these shots. I really wanted the food to be the focus of the photos, so the 35mm seemed the perfect choice.
