St. Paddy's day in Cleveland
I did make it downtown for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Cleveland. It stretched from East 18th street all the way to Public Square at Superior Ave. The sun briefly came out, which is nice, but it didn’t quite warm me up in the way I’d hoped. It was still pretty cold.
But that didn’t stop the city of Cleveland from turning up for the parade.
I split my time between watching the parade and taking photos. I didn’t try to linger too long in one spot and pretty much walked up and down Superior avenue the whole time. Many of the folks around me were kind enough to give me space to shoot. Someone even gave up his spot because he had a great view. Bless that man.
When editing the photos, I focused on adding a green tint to the images. The photos have a bit of a nostalgic feel, which I like. I think I want all of my photos to create a nostalgic feeling. Like, when you look at it, you’re immediately transported to the moment that photo was taken.
Anyway, the photo of the man walking by felt gallery-worthy, so I added it to the page.
