Vermilion city
I spent Saturday in Vermilion, Ohio. The weather was a little chilly, but bearable. It’ll get colder in no time. I wish that I’d gone during the height of the fall season or in the summer because the trees are starting to lose their leaves. The leaves that remain on the branches aren’t as bright as they were in October. Everything’s a bit dull now as we start to move into winter.
(I’m not ready for winter).
Vermilion is a quiet city by the lake. If the Hallmark channel ever wanted to shoot a movie somewhere in Ohio, this would be the place. There’s the Blue Bridge, various shops along Liberty Avenue, and the beach is right down the street. It seems a picturesque place.
Below are some shots from the day. I actually didn’t take too many. Some of my photos were too noisy because the aperture was too low, so they didn’t make the cut. I still want to work on my composition.
ETA: I used Portra 400 for most of these shots.
