Here’s a roundup of some shots I took this week.

These shots are from various places in Cleveland: University Circle, Lakewood, Shaker Heights. The weather was unusually sunny and warm, so I tried to take advantage of that and get some photos.
I’m starting to get a slightly better understanding of exposure. A few weeks ago, I did a 1:1 workshop at Dodd Cleveland and learned about the importance of the exposure indicator, so my photos are becoming a little less WAY TOO BRIGHT and WAY TOO DARK.
One thing I want to get better at is composition. Sometimes I feel like the subject isn’t very clear in my photos. Like the first one, for example. I like it…but I’m not sure who the subject is supposed to be. Is it the tree on the right? Or this a photo with no clear subject? Who knows.
I am enjoying fiddling around with recipes. I’m fond of Superia 800 and Portra 400. Superia is nice and warm. So is Portra, but it definitely creates a more nostalgic feel for me.
